Leptospermum scoparius

An evergreen shrub with small leaves and much branching, it produces a rich spring bloom in various shades of pink, red and white. Requires moderate watering without stagnation, sunny exposure, does not tolerate very low temperatures. An excellent honey called manuka honey is made from the flowers of this plant.
