Pandorea jasminoides
Evergreen climber with beautiful glossy foliage and slender, flighty branches. From spring to fall it produces numerous white bell-shaped flowers with cherry-red throats. It can be used to cover fences, excellent in pots for terraces and patios, to be climbed on espaliers or other supports. It can withstand light frosts; best to protect it in colder climates. Light pruning is done in late winter to remove any dry or damaged branches over the winter. It likes a sunny exposure and copious watering, supplemented by periodic fertilizing. The Lady Di variety has completely white flowers; the Rosea variety has pink flowers.
